Property Tax Tools ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Information we collect
Calculator data
The numbers you enter into our calculators are processed entirely in your web browser. We do not send your calculator inputs to our servers, and we do not store or have access to the financial information you enter.
Email addresses
If you voluntarily subscribe to our email list (for example, by requesting a personalised PDF report), we collect your email address and the source page. This information is stored with our email delivery service, Resend.
Purchase information
If you purchase a product, payment is processed by Payhip. We receive your name, email address, and transaction details. We do not receive or store your credit card or payment details.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website. This service collects anonymised data including pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate geographic location (country/state level). No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to distinguish unique visitors. IP addresses are anonymised by default.

We do not use advertising trackers or sell your data to third parties.

Email communications
When you subscribe, you consent to receiving our property investment newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time and we will promptly stop sending marketing emails. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
- Resend — email delivery service (sends transactional and marketing emails; stores email addresses)
- Payhip — payment processor (processes purchases and delivers digital products)
- Vercel — website hosting
- Google Analytics — anonymised website usage analytics (pages visited, device type, approximate location)
Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. Our website uses HTTPS encryption. Third-party services we use maintain their own security practices.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

- Request deletion or de-identification of your personal information where we no longer need it and we are not required to retain it
